Get ready to SCREAM.

SCREAM, or Student Center Recreation, Entertainment and More, was created by the Campus Activities Board. The group will host events and students will be able to attend these events throughout the spring.

Events include free screenings of movies like “Ender’s Game” on Jan. 26 and “Lee Daniels’ The Butler” on Feb. 16. Movies will be shown in the Carl Sandburg auditorium.

While the tickets are free, concessions will cost a small fee. All proceeds will go back into the program.

There will be live music on Mondays at The College Grind, the coffee shop in the Holmes Student Center.

Kenneth Leftridge and the Leftridge Sextet will perform live jazz at 8 p.m. every Monday.

The College Grind is on the main floor replacing the old computer lab.

Computers are still there, allowing students to surf the Internet and listen to live music at the same time.

Other events are still being cordinated for the spring, including game night in the Huskies Den and an open mic night at The College Grind.
