Police are searching for someone who was allegedly involved in shots fired at an apartment complex Wednesday.

A warrant is out for Benjamin L. Evans for aggravated use of a weapon, unlawful possession of weapon by felon and aggravated discharge of a firearm. Bond is set at $250,000.

Police responded to James Court Apartments, located in the 2600 block of North First Street, at about 3:30 p.m. Wednesday. After investigating, officers determined two groups of men were arguing in the parking lot of the apartment complex, according to a news release. During the argument, one man pulled out a handgun and shot at the other group’s vehicle.

When officers arrived, both groups were gone. The investigation is ongoing and there are no known injuries at this time.
