‘Vanderpump Rules’ new season serves up drama

Bravo’s “Vanderpump Rules” has returned for a dramatic season of fighting, cheating and competing to be the hottest waitress.

“Vanderpump Rules” is a spin-off of “Real Housewives of Beverly Hills,” and its second season premiered Monday. Creators of the show focus on SUR Restaurant owner Lisa Vanderpump and the drama that goes on behind the scenes of her eatery.

Last season, drama queen Stassi Schroeder dealt with her hot-and-cold relationship with co-worker Jax Taylor. The fiesty Stassi and Jax dated for several years and broken up because Jax cheated and got his fling pregnant.

The new season is just as high drama as I hoped for.

Stassi and Jax are still on and off. In last season’s finale, Jax quit his job at SUR and came clean to Stassi about everything he was lying to her about. I thought Stassi would be done with Jax forever, but this season chronicles their hot-mess relationship.

Kristen Doute met the girl Tom Sandoval was dating before her, and her jealously is obvious. She was so upset from meeting her, she had to leave the photoshoot she was at. Then Kristen talked about a new girl hired who Tom had a relationship with.

Scheana Marie, who supposedly broke up the marriage of Beverly Hills housewife Brandi Glanville and Eddie Cibrian, is now best friends with Stassi. Last season, the two seemed to be mortal enemies. This season, there seems to be a power struggle between the two as they see who will be the most popular in the restaurant. Stassi is claiming Scheana has turned Lisa against her because Stassi never does anything for Scheana.

The season premiere was more than I could want. There was drama, lots of fighting over stupid things and my favorite hot mess couple, Stassi and Jax. I can’t wait for the rest of the juicy season.
