Pilgrim Hat Cookies
Pilgrim Hat Cookies are a delicious dessert to share with friends and family on Thanksgiving.
The ingredients are simple. You’re going to need chocolate wafer cookies, one can of chocolate frosting, one tube of red decorating gel and one bag of small peanut butter cups.
Set out the cookies on a flat surface and place a dime-sized dot of chocolate frosting in the middle of each wafer cookie. Next, unwrap each peanut butter cup, and place one on top of the frosting of each cookie. Press down gently.
You are going to want to make the hat with the decorating gel. Squeeze the gel around the peanut butter cups and make a square “buckle” on the buttercups. Definitely let the frosting set before serving.
Gobble Gobble Cookies
Gobble Gobble Cookies are an adorable Thanksgiving dessert. Ingredients needed for this treat are one roll of refrigerated sugar cookies, one container of chocolate creamy frosting, one bag of candy corn, orange decorating icing and black decorating gel.
Set the oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit, and place each cookie on a baking sheet. Set the timer for 20 minutes, and make sure to let them cool off. After the cookies are ready, spoon chocolate frosting into a resealable food storage plastic bag.
Next, seal the bag, and cut a small hole in the bottom corner of it. On each cookie, squeeze frosting on the cookie’s top half outer edge. Arrange the candy corn over the frosting to make a feather.
Place the red decorating icing onto the cookies to make a turkey beak and feet. Cut off the white ends of candy corn and place them as eyes on the cookie.
Use the black decorating gel to make the eyes on the center of the candy corn. Let the cookies sit and dry before serving.
