International Education Week commences

To celebrate International Education Week, international menus are being offered at the residence halls and Blackhawk Food Court, winners of campus international education awards will be announced and there will be events throughout the week.
This year’s focus for International Education Week is “Global Communiversity.”
Highlights of the week include the International Career Panel at 4 p.m. today in Barsema Hall, Room 300, the Student Fulbright workshop from 1 to 2:30 p.m. Thursday in the Holmes Student Center’s Skyroom and a capstone lecture by Chie Ikeya, assistant professor of history at Rutgers University, at noon Friday in the Holmes Student Center’s Skyroom.
International Education Week will conclude with the second annual International Global Village Potluck and Dance 6 to 10 p.m. Friday in the Barsema Hall Atrium. The event will include dance performances, cultural displays and international food tasting followed by a DJ-hosted dance.
