“The Hunger Games: Catching Fire”

The Hunger Games series continues Friday with the sequel “The Hunger Games: Catching Fire.”

Members of the Capitol, which is the government in the Hunger Games world, believe Katniss Everdeen and Peeta Mellark are the cause of riots in the districts. To resolve this problem, the Capitol wants to eliminate Katniss and Peeta by entering them in the upcoming Hunger Games competition.

The cast members from the first Hunger Games film return to their original roles. Jennifer Lawrence and Josh Hutcherson have won several awards for their work since the first film.

I’m sure this movie will be just as successful as the last.

The sequel is directed by Francis Lawrence, who directed “I Am Legend,” “Constantine” and “Water for Elephants.”

“Catching Fire” displays its creative writing and astounding cinematography in its trailer. Character development looks to be abundant.

Students should check out this highly-anticipated film tonight.

“Delivery Man”

Being the parent of 533 children would be one of the hardest and weirdest challenges a mother or father could experience.

Vince Vaughn stars in “Delivery Man” as David, a man whose donations were in a mix-up at a fertility clinic. His children are mostly grown up, and 142 of them are filing a lawsuit against him to reveal himself. Now, David feels being there for his children might be a way to have meaning in life.

The comedic “Delivery Man” also features Chris Pratt from “Parks and Recreation.”
