DeKalb | The New Music Festival begins Oct. 29 and will feature various performances.

All concerts begin at 8 p.m. in the Boutell Memorial Concert Hall and are free to the public. The first concert will feature Marco Albonetti and Dane Richeson on Oct. 29; the Nov. 5 concert features Matt Ulery with his group, Loom, and the finale on Nov. 7 will include the Graduate Percussion Ensemble with help from the Physics Department in a cosmic-themed show. Directly following the finale, audience members will have the chance to tour the observatory.
