Students to gain information on majors at Exploring Majors Fair

By Northern Star Staff

NIU is out to help all the students who have had trouble settling on a major.

The Exploring Majors Fair will be held from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. Sept. 24 in the Duke Ellington Ballroom of the Holmes Student Center.

More than 700 students attend the fair each year, said Steven Barleen, associate director of the Academic Advising Center, in an email. This year, the fair will also highlight the NGOLD, ENVS and history majors with presentations from select professors.

The presentations will be held from 11:30 a.m. to 2:15 p.m. the day of the fair in the Regency Room.
