DeKalb | Book dramatist Barbara Rinella will appear as Cleopatra in DeKalb to raise funds for the DeKalb Public Library’s expansion project.

She will appear at 2:30 p.m. Oct. 23 at the Stage Coach Theatre, 126 S. Fifth St. Rinella will be in character at a reception prior to the show at 1:15 p.m. Her appearance is based on the book “Cleopatra: A Life” by Stacy Schiff.

Tickets are $50 per person and go toward the expansion fundraising. Tickets may be purchased by contacting Nancy Norris at 815-756-3292 or the DeKalb Public Library at 815-756-9568. The deadline for purchasing tickets is Oct. 18. Tickets will not be sold at the door.
