The Sept. 28 football game between NIU and Purdue will be covered by ESPN2.

This is the fourth game that has been guaranteed to be on ESPN as three matches in November will be broadcast on ESPN2 or ESPNU. The match against Purdue will also be covered on the Big Ten network.

This will be the seventh game this season NIU will have a televised match as both Comcast SportsNet Chicago and Time Warner Cable SportsChannel have also agreed to televise a game.

NIU takes on Eastern Illinois in its first home game of the season at 6 p.m. Saturday in DeKalb. That game will be shown on ESPN3.
