The new NIU athletics director will be announced at 11 a.m. Tuesday at the Yordon Center.

After the news conference in DeKalb there will be another news conference at 3 p.m. in Chicago at The Mid-America Club in the Aon Building.

NIU has been on the search for a new athletic director since Jeff Compher stepped down on March 6. Christian Spears has been the acting director since April 4.
