The following was taken directly from area police and fire department records, or DeKalb County court records. Anyone mentioned is presumed innocent until proved guilty in a court of law.

Tuesday

At 9:03 a.m., officers ran the registration on a black Dodge Durango in front of them. The registered owner came back as having a warrant. Following a traffic stop at 1700 Sycamore Road, Jose J. Lopez, 27, was charged with possession of cannabis and the original warrant of speeding. Lopez was released on bond.

At 9:33 a.m., Jennifer L. Dazzo, 37, turned herself in on a warrant for failure to appear—DUI. Dazzo was released on bond with a court date.

Officers responded to 731 Russell Road to serve a warrant. Waltor Little, 30, was taken into custody and charged with domestic battery. Little was transported to the DeKalb County jail.

At 1:19 p.m., officers were dispatched to Parkside Drive Apartments, 1329 Sycamore Road, for keys locked in a car. The car door was opened and officers checked the requestor’s information. Two warrants were located from the Aurora police department. Robby L. Patton, 23, was charged with the original warrants for no license and possession of cannabis. Patton was released on bond with a court date.

At 4:44 p.m., officers responded to 220 E. Hillcrest Drive for a subject trying to gain entry to the complainant’s apartment. Wendy L. Villasenor, 31, was charged with a warrant for failure to appear.

At 4:45 p.m., Norma A. Rodriguez-Nunez, 52, turned herself in on a warrant for failure to appear—contempt. Rodriguez-Nunez was released on bond with a court date.

At 5:03 p.m., Thaddaeus J. Carr came to the police department in reference to a warrant for his arrest for failure to appear—disorderly house. Carr was taken into custody, processed and was released on bond with a new court date.
