At 3:55 a.m., following a traffic stop at 760 N. Annie Glidden Road, Gregory A. Sanders, 21, was charged with failure to appear—possession of contraband in prison. Sanders was transported to the DeKalb County Sheriff’s Office.

At 5:21 p.m., officers responded to Walmart, 2300 Sycamore Road, in reference to a retail theft. Following investigation, Keith D. Fuqua, 20, and Ivette Sanchez, 22, were charged with retail theft.

At 11:12 p.m., officers observed a vehicle approaching the intersection of West Hillcrest Drive and North Annie Glidden Road with the passenger of the vehicle not wearing his seatbelt. Following a traffic stop at 1000 W. Hillcrest Drive, Nayshawn T. Edwards, 19, was cited for failure to wear sear belt as a passenger. Lanell L. Williams, 19, was charged with no valid driver’s license and was released on bond.
