The following was taken directly from area police and fire department records, or DeKalb County court records. Anyone mentioned is presumed innocent until proved guilty in a court of law.

Monday

At 4:30 a.m., officers received a report of domestic battery. David Hernandez, 37, was charged with domestic battery.

Dymetrius L. Town, 23, was charged with two counts of domestic battery. Town was processed then released.

At 10:38 a.m., officers responded to Walmart, 2300 Sycamore Road, for on report of a stolen wallet. Following investigation, Barbara J. Stephen, 61, was charged with theft of lost/mislaid property. Stephen was released with a pending court date.

At 5:28 p.m., officers received a report that a wanted individual was at 801 Woodlawn Drive. An investigation led to the arrest of Austin B. Johnsen, 18. Johnsen was charged with the original warrant of criminal damage to property and failure to appear—mob action. Johnsen was transported to the DeKalb County Sheriff’s Office.

At 5:50 p.m., officers observed a vehicle driving without headlights on. Following a traffic stop at 1800 S. Annie Glidden Road, Vonkeishia L. King, 21, was charged with no valid driver’s license, uninsured motor vehicle, and no lights when required. King was released on bond.
