The following was taken directly from area police and fire department records, or DeKalb County court records. Anyone mentioned is presumed innocent until proved guilty in a court of law.
Saturday at 11:51 p.m., officers responded to a University Drive residence for a second-time reference to a loud party complaint. Officers on the scene asked people to leave. About 200 people left. Michael Santacaterina, 20, was charged with disorderly house and released on a signature with a notice to appear.
Sunday
At 1:51 a.m., following a traffic stop, Peter B. Hull, 19, was charged with two counts of DUI, improper turn, consumption of alcohol by a minor, and possession of drug equipment.
At 2:13 a.m., officers were dispatched to a Greenbrier Road address for a fight. When officers arrived on the scene, they learned the fight had ended. An intoxicated subject was transported to Kishwaukee Community Hospital by ambulance. Nickolas C. Hunley, 23, was charged with disorderly house. Taylor K. Hilgen, 18, was charged with consumption of alcohol by a minor.
At 10:36 a.m., officers observed an individual getting out of his parked vehicle at the DeKalb Shell Mart, 308 N. Seventh St., and ran his license plate. It was learned that the owner was wanted on a warrant. Jeremiah P. Riggs, 33, was charged with failure to appear —driving with a suspended license.
At 6:14 p.m., officers observed a white SUV traveling at a high rate of speed. Following a traffic stop at 500 N. Annie Glidden Road, Maricela Mendoza-Cruz, 45, was charged with no valid driver’s license, and speeding. Mendoza-Cruz was released on bond.
