The following was taken directly from area police and fire department records, or DeKalb County court records. Anyone mentioned is presumed innocent until proved guilty in a court of law.
Wednesday
At 11:07 a.m., officers responded to a report of domestic battery at West Ridge Apartments, 919 W. Ridge Drive. Lorenzo D. Gee, 21, was charged with two counts of domestic battery.
Nolan G. Bolton, 20, turned himself in on an active warrant for battery and criminal defacement. Bolton was booked and released on bond.
At 9:35 p.m., officers were dispatched to meet with a security guard about a subject banned from University Village Apartments, 722 N. Annie Glidden Road. Following investigation, Alex D. Johnson, 22, was charged with trespass to real property.
At 9:52 p.m., officers responded to a report of theft at Walmart, 2300 Sycamore Road. Following investigation, Mikos J. Montgomery, 20, and Selina Denise Holman, 18, were charged with retail theft and transported to the DeKalb Police Department.
Thursday
At 9:54 p.m., officers went to 745 Haish Blvd. to serve a warrant to James D. Smith II, 52, for contempt of court. Smith was booked and released on bond.
Charles Donnerson, 27, turned himself in a warrant for two counts of aggravated assault, battery, driving with a suspended license, and reckless driving. Donnerson was released on bond.
Friday
At 10:48 p.m., following a traffic stop at University Plaza, 900 Crane Drive, Donta L. Murphy, 22, was charged with two counts of felony and driving with a suspended license. Murphy was booked and taken to the DeKalb County Sheriff’s Office.
Saturday
At 12:29 a.m., officers served a warrant at a Market Street residence to Sergio Garcia-Molina, 51, for failure to appear — traffic. Garcia-Molina was booked and released on bond.
At 12:29 a.m., officers observed a black Toyota traveling without illuminated headlights. Following a traffic stop on 200 N. Second St., Anthony Montes, 18, was charged with driving with license suspended and driving without lights when required.
At 1:28 a.m., following a traffic stop, Michael C. Anderson, 23, was charged with DUI, DUI over .08, and driving without a seat belt.
At 1:58 a.m., following a traffic stop at 600 Roosevelt St., Christian De Jesus Vazquez, 27, was charged with no valid driver’s license, operating an uninsured motor vehicle, and disobeying a stop sign. Vazquez was released on bond.
Marcus D. Scates, 19, was charged with retail theft.
At 9:58 a.m., officers observed a subject walking at 400 W. Lincoln Highway. Chadwick J. Whitney, 40, was stopped and taken to the police department. Whitney was charged with failure to appear — battery and taken to the DeKalb County Sheriff’s Office.
At 7:10 p.m., Erica Garcia, 20, turned herself in on a warrant for failure to appear — driving under the influence. Garcia was booked and released on bond.
At 7:12 p.m., following a traffic stop on Lucinda Avenue, Joseph H. Bobbitt, 24, was charged with driving with a suspended license, and operating a vehicle with suspended registration.
