The following was taken directly from area police and fire department records, or DeKalb County court records. Anyone mentioned is presumed innocent until proved guilty in a court of law.

Sunday

At 2:16 a.m., officers spoke with a pedestrian in the roadway of Russell Road. Lisa Nicole Zemola, 20, was charged with resisting, unlawful consumption, possession of fraudulent driver’s license, and obstructing identification.

At 2:36 a.m., officers observed a red Mitsubishi driving without its headlights illuminated. Following a traffic stop, Justyna A. Skinner , 24, was charged with DUI, DUI over .08, and driving without headlights when required.

At 6:08 p.m., officers served a warrant to Delaina B. Curtis, 24, for failure to appear for being unlicensed. Curtis was booked and transported to the DCSO.

At 7:10 p.m., Victori P. Funske, 27, turned herself in on a warrant for possession of drug paraphernalia. Funske was booked and released on bond.

At 8:55 p.m., officers responded to South Seventh Street in reference to a failure to appear warrant for domestic battery. David W. Anderson, 31, was taken into custody for the warrant and transported to the DCSO.

At 10 p.m., officers responded to a report of retail theft at WalMart, 2300 Sycamore Road. The suspects were caught while fleeing the scene. Michael B. Murphy, 21, was charged with retail theft. Christian D. Crawford, 20, was charged with retail theft and attempt obstructing justice.

At 11:15 p.m., following a traffic stop on Varsity Boulevard, Dominique N. Hopkins, 20, was charged with unlawful possession of cannabis, no valid driver’s license, and no insurance. Hopkins was released on bond.
