At 12:04 a.m., officers observed a vehicle driving erratically near 500 W. Dresser Rd. Following a traffic stop, Brandon Valentine, 22, was arrested for driving under the influence of alcohol.
At 11:45 a.m., officers responded to Huskies Tobacco, 1023 W. Hillcrest Dr., in regards to a report of theft. A suspect was identified on surveillance footage and an investigation began.
At 1 p.m., officers responded to a call from Carson Prairie Scott, 2550 Sycamore Road, in regards to a complaint of harassment by telephone. The complainant said she had received a nude picture from a person she used to know. She wanted the suspect not to contact her anymore. The suspect said he had accidentally sent the image to the wrong person because the complainant and the suspect’s girlfriend shared the same first name. The suspect apologized and said he would not contact the complainant again.
At 2:34 p.m., officers responded to a complaint of suspicious activity at No Strings Attached, 248 E. Lincoln Highway. The complaint said a customer came in wanting to sell a cell phone. The complaint suspected the cell phone might be stolen. An investigation was started.
At 3:02 p.m., officers responded to McDonald’s, 545 E. Lincoln Highway, in regards to a report of disorderly conduct. The complainant said the suspects have been coming into the business and giving the complainant dirty looks and calling her names. The suspects were advised to avoid that McDonald’s. Officers advised the complainant to speak with the general manager in an attempt to get the suspects banned from the property to avoid any further problems. The complainant said she would speak with the manager.
At 3:28 p.m., officers responded to a complaint of a domestic dispute at 1400 W. Lincoln Highway. Parties involved said they had recently broken up and had gotten into a verbal altercation while retrieving their possessions from each other’s residence. No physical altercation occurred and both parties were advised not to return to each other’s residence.
At 5:17 p.m., officer responded to a complaint of retail theft at Wal-Mart, 2300 Sycamore Road. Following a short investigation, Alexa R. Komadina, 20, was arrested for retail theft.
At 7 p.m., officers responded to a complaint of phone harassment at 223 S. Second St. The complainant said she had received multiple threatening text messages from an unknown number. Officers left a phone message for the suspect advising not to contact the complainant again.
At 8:58 p.m., officers arrived at 1047 S. Fifth St. in regards to a complaint of disorderly conduct and battery. No arrests were made.
