The following was taken directly from area police and fire department records, or DeKalb County court records. Anyone mentioned is presumed innocent until proved guilty in a court of law.

Wednesday

At 12:50 a.m., officers arrived at 837 W. Taylor St. in regards to several 911 calls from a female that was crying and unsure of the address she was located. Officers found her held against her will by Allonde J. Epps, 19, who proceeded to resist arrest. Epps was arrested and an investigation started.

At 1:46 a.m., officers observed a vehicle driving without rear registration lights. Following a traffic stop, the driver, Deshawn T. Bames, 20, was arrested for driving with a suspended license, transported to DCPD, and released after posting bond.

At 2:48 p.m., officers were called to investigate a violation of order of protection that had occurred at 915 E. Lincoln Highway. The victim advised that she had received flowers from the suspect. An investigation was started.

At 3:45 p.m., officers responded to Big Lots, 1700 Sycamore Road, to serve an active warrant. The suspect, Robin L. Tusley, 47, was arrested, transported to DCPD, and released after posting bond.

At 6:50 p.m., officers responded to fire station 1, 700 Pine St., on a report that a female had come to the station with a broken hand. The female advised that, she had punched a wall following a verbal altercation with her mother. The female had then walked to the fire station to have them check her injured hand. The mother was unable to be reached.

At 8:15 p.m., officers responded to 847 Russell Road, in regards to a report of suspicious activity. The complainant advised that an unknown suspect attempted to kick open the apartment door. There are no suspects at this time.

At 9:41 p.m., officers responded to 813 W. Taylor St. in regards to a complaint of a domestic dispute. Both parties confirmed that there was an argument, but would not go into detail. No arrests were made.
