“I felt safe during Homecoming because I avoided dangerous areas and feel that I can take care of myself. There also was a pretty nice police presence on campus.”

“No, I do not think the Student Association contributed much to people feeling safe because I’ve never heard much from them.”

“Yes, for a couple reasons. The first reason because there was a lot of police all over campus doing traffic stops and walking around. I thought that was pretty cool. The second reason is because you didn’t really hear of any major crime events happening around campus over the weekend.”

“When I drank this weekend, I chose to go to the bars instead of house parties. At house parties there are usually a lot of fights and other bad situations that could happen and I try to avoid stuff like that.”
