“Yes. There were police everywhere and there were many programs on campus that promoted student safety.”

“Yes, it was safe because of the NIU Police because they are here for our safety 24/7 and not just Homecoming weekend. I’ve heard different things but I am unsure if Student Association had anything to do with the safety or not. I’ve seen Health Enhancement be more involved than anything.”

“Yes, because during my night walks I’ve seen multiple people get pulled over which is a sign that they were making sure that no one was driving under the influence of alcohol.”

“I did not drink this weekend and never walked alone at night time.”
