The following was taken directly from area police and fire department records, or DeKalb County court records. Anyone mentioned is presumed innocent until proved guilty in a court of law.

Monday

At 9:14 p.m., officers responded to Wal-Mart, 2300 Sycamore Road, in regards to a report of retail theft. Mary R. Bridgeland, 21, was arrested for retail theft. The property Bridgeland had attempted to steal had a total value of $26.16.

At 9:54 p.m., officers responded to a complaint of domestic trouble. The complainant advised officers that her husband, from whom the complainant was separated, was causing the complainant worry about her own safety and the safety of her child. The complainant was urged to contact Safe Passage for assistance in obtaining an order of protection.

At 11:25 p.m., officers reported to 900 Greenbrier Road in regards to a report of aggravated battery. Subjects were advised to have arrived in a vehicle and shot the complainant in the face using paint ball guns. The suspect vehicle was located in the parking lot of 1121 W. Hillcrest Drive. Corey D. Taylor, 19, Prince W. Spencer, 19, Brandon T. Pitts, 20, and Brent Pitts, 20, were all arrested for aggravated battery and mob action, booked, and transported to DCPD.
