At 1:55 a.m., officers responded to an apartment on Kimberly Drive in reference to a fight. Upon arriving at the scene, officers witnessed a suspect, Regina S. McCaulley, 22, assault a male suspect. McCaulley was arrested and transported to DCPD. James W. Russell, 19, was arrested for the illegal consumption of alcohol as a minor. Shawnteese Esther, 19, was given a citation for a disorderly house.
At 2:39 a.m., officers responded to a complaint of disorderly conduct at an apartment on Kimberly Drive. The complainant, Yamone Brown-Johnson, 21, stated a suspect was armed with a handgun and had threatened to shoot him. Upon arrival at the scene, police searched the subjects and apartment with negative results. Brown-Johnson said a suspect with short braids and a black hat pointed a Beretta 9 mm at Brown-Johnson and threatened to shoot him. During the investigation, suspects Antroine Macon-Henderson, Christopher Sims and Shawnteese Esther were found to have consumed alcoholic beverages while underage. When Esther was questioned about the alleged gunman, she was dishonest and said he fled the scene. Police learned Sims had implied he had a handgun to Brown-Johnson, but never displayed one, which caused Brown-Johnson to be alarmed. Brown-Johnson then said he had told police there was a handgun displayed because he wanted officers to arrive faster. Esther, 20, was arrested for obstruction of justice and the unlawful consumption of alcohol. Macon-Henderson, 18, was arrested for unlawful consumption. Sims, 20, was arrested for unlawful consumption and disorderly conduct. Brown-Johnson was arrested for disorderly conduct.
At 9:04 a.m., officers spoke with a complainant at Tool Time Rental, 1802 Sycamore Road, in regard to discrepancies in the gas records for the store’s fleet of rental vehicles. The complainant’s employees discovered a suspect vehicle, which may have stolen gas, had entered the lot overnight. An investigation was started.
At 9:09 a.m., officers cited Kylee B. Nilsson, 19, at a residence on South Fourth Street for the possession of drug paraphernalia.
At 12:22 p.m., a subject came to the DCPD with a counterfeit $100 bill he found in the parking lot of Road Ranger, 933 S. Fourth St. The bill was logged as evidence.
