At 12:06 a.m., an officer ran a license plate check on a vehicle driving on 200 Lincoln Highway. The vehicle’s registration and the driver’s license were suspended. The driver was also found to be in possession of a bag of cannabis. Stefan Canonge was arrested for possession of cannabis, suspended license and operation of a vehicle with a suspended registration.
At 5:51 p.m., a victim reported his laundry stolen at 1317 Pleasant St. There are no suspects at this time. This case is inactive.
At 6:26 p.m., Quincy Pettis was arrested at 600 W. Hillcrest Road for driving with a suspended license and no insurance. He was booked and released on bond.
At 10:23 a.m., Nicole Galawskas was arrested at 600 W. Hillcrest Road for driving with a suspended license. She was booked and released on bond.
At 11:58 p.m., an officer checked the registration of a silver Pontiac van at 200 Rolfe Road. The vehicle’s registration and the driver’s license were suspended. The driver pulled into a residential driveway. He claimed it was not his home but he turned into the driveway to try to avoid being pulled over. The actual homeowner was notified of what was going on. Justin Stern was arrested and released on bond for operating a vehicle with a suspended registration, driving with a suspended license and no proof of insurance.
At midnight, a victim reported a purse stolen from her parked vehicle at 711 Russell Road. The vehicle’s doors were locked but rear windows were rolled down. The victim said she had her credit cards in her purse. There are no suspects at this time.
At 3:51 p.m., a suspect leaving Walmart, 2300 Sycamore Road, ran when employees confronted him for alleged theft. The suspect was standing in a self-service line with a cart of clothing and food. James Williams III was detained, arrested, charged, booked on bond and later released.
