The following was taken directly from area police and fire department records, or from DeKalb County court records. Anyone mentioned is presumed innocent until proved guilty in a court of law.

At 10:12 a.m., Michael Randle, 21, turned himself in on an FTA warrant for a traffic violation. He was arrested, booked and released on bond with a new court date.
At 3 a.m., Jeffrey Williams, 27, and his roommate were at their home on 173 Holly St. when they allegedly got into an argument over Williams’s girlfriend. Williams allegedly put the victim in a headlock and punched his eye. When they got up, the suspect told the victim he could no longer live there and kicked him out. The victim used the neighbor’s phone to call the police. Police came and the suspect denied battery. Williams was arrested, booked and released on bond.
At 1:30 p.m., a woman came to the police and complained about her husband. She said she was in an unhappy marriage and her husband abuses her and their two children mentally. There was no physical abuse. Police offered to talk to her husband but she declined. Police gave her contact information for Safe Passage in DeKalb. No further action was requested.
At 1:42 p.m., a suspect attempted to use his credit card at the pump at Mobil Gas, 1740 East Lincoln Highway. The card did not work again and the clerk asked the suspect to come inside and pay. The card did not work and the clerk asked the suspect to go to his car and get another card. The suspect went out and drove off. He could not be located.
At 4:58 p.m., a complainant came to the police department to report unknown persons attempting to obtain Comcast service in his name. An investigation has started. There are no suspects at this time.
At 6:38 p.m., a complainant came to the police department to report he had gotten into argument with his girlfriend at 1110 Spiros Court, Apt. 1-C. The girlfriend left with his car and he needed it back to go to work, but she would not come back. The police requested for her to bring it back. When she came back, she claimed the complainant was bipolar and did not take his medication. She said he was being irrational so she threw a water bottle at him and he threw it back, striking her forehead. The suspect was not injured. Both signed IDVA forms.
At 7:20 p.m., a complainant contacted the police department to have a suspect removed from the apartment they share, 311 W. Alder Place, Apt. 3. The complainant and suspect were on the lease. Both had an argument and when the suspect came back from work, he found his belongings on the back porch and saw the complainant attempting to change the lock. Neither wanted to leave or move out. Police told them they could not ask one to leave since both are on lease. No further assistance was required.
At 7:28 p.m., at Walgreens, 100 W. Lincoln Highway, police spoke to a victim of theft. An investigation has started.
At 10:43 p.m., two officers made contact with two subjects at 808 Ridge Drive, Apt. 101. Subjects gave consent to search their apartment. Cannabis was located. Carl Whalstrom, 21, was arrested.
At 9:49 p.m., Alejamora Barbosa, 22, was cited for possession of cannabis at 800 Pappas Drive.
