The NIU Operating Staff Council is looking for representation on their committees for the 2012-2013 year, said a member of the Chemistry and Biochemistry department in an email.

The committees include Campus Parking, Campus Security and Environmental Quality Committee, the Unity in Diversity Committee, the University Benefits Committee and University Council.

People interested in serving on these committees should fill out the interest form.

The openings and interest form can be found on the Operating Staff Council website at niu.edu/osc/committees/committees.shtml.

The Operating Staff Council will make their decision on the vacancies at a Sept. 6 meeting.
