Tuesday

At 5:34 p.m., DeKalb police officers responded to Road Ranger in the 1700 block of Sycamore Road in response to a suspicious incident. The Road Ranger clerk said two people had been in and out of the store purchasing Dramamine. During one of the trips, a lighter was stolen. Upon arrival, officers located the two people sitting in the parking lot inside a red vehicle. After further investigation, Dillan J. Quitno, 18, of Sycamore, was charged with driving under the influence of drugs, operating an uninsured motor vehicle and retail theft.

Wednesday

At 2:16 a.m., DeKalb County police stopped a vehicle for improper lane usage on Gletty Road, north of South County Line Road. The driver of the vehicle, Leah Kinney , 21, of Aurora, was charged with driving under the influence and was transported to the DeKalb County Jail. Kinney is currently being held, pending bond.
