Wednesday

At 12:03 p.m., Karli R. Kastilahn, 21, turned herself in at the DeKalb Police Department. Kastilahn was wanted on a failure to appear warrant for a disorderly house charge. Kastilahn was booked and released after posting bond.

Thursday

At 8:56 p.m., DeKalb Police observed a vehicle in the 500 block of Sycamore Road driving without headlights on. The driver, Maria D. Torres-Garcia, 29, was found to not possess a valid driver’s license. Torres-Garcia was placed under arrest and was later released on bond.

Friday

At 1:58 a.m., DeKalb police observed a vehicle in the 1100 block of West Lincoln Highway driving with no headlights on. The officer conducted a traffic stop and performed field sobriety tests on the driver, Laura M. Butz, 21. Butz was charged with driving under the influence of alcohol, driving with no lights when required and illegal transportation of alcohol. Butz was arrested and transported to the DeKalb Police Department.

At 11:58 a.m., Jason E. Gilich, 21, turned himself in the DeKalb Police Department. Gilich was wanted on a failure to appear warrant for possession of paraphernalia. Gilich was booked and released on cash bond.

At 9:37 p.m., DeKalb police witnessed a vehicle traveling eastbound in the 900 block of Spiros Court turn off its headlights. The officer initiated a traffic stop and noticed the driver, Noelle Ann Roth, 22, was driving without a seatbelt, had blood shot and glassy eyes and slurred speech. Roth was charged with driving with no headlights, no seat belt and driving while under the influence.

Saturday

At 2:17 a.m., DeKalb police observed a vehicle speeding 15 miles over the posted limit and disobey a stop sign at North Annie Glidden Road and Bethany Road. Police stopped the vehicle, and Shawn T. Koukos, 22, was charged with driving under the influence, speeding and disobeying a stop sign.
