The NIU Board of Trustees will meet today at 9 a.m. in the Altgeld Hall Board of Trustees Room.

Among the items planned for discussion are an alcoholic beverage policy for public events and non-student related activities and the next phase of the campus alert system. NIU President John Peters will also give a presentation on his Vision 2020 Initiative.

The meeting is open to the public.
