Campus blotter for 11/02/11

Sunday

  • At 1:35 a.m., an officer on patrol observed a minor walking with a plastic cup containing alcohol. As the officer approached, the minor threw the plastic cup on the ground. The officer made contact with the person and gave him a verbal warning.
  • At 1:54 a.m., an officer in the Douglas Hall Lobby observed a student vomiting outside on the sidewalk. Contact with the person revealed that she had consumed alcohol as a minor. After verifying she was OK, the officer referred her to the Office of Community Standards and Student Conduct.
  • At 2:48 a.m., an officer in the Douglas Hall Lobby saw an intoxicated student enter the lobby. Officers made contact with the student and learned that he consumed alcohol as a minor. After verifying that he was OK, the officer referred him to the Office of Community Standards and Student Conduct.
  • At 7:52 a.m., an officer responded to NIU Parking Lot B for a criminal damage report. Upon arrival, she met with a person who said someone damaged cones for the Motorcycle Safety Course. This case is pending investigation.
  • At 11:41 a.m., an officer responded to Grant Towers South regarding a report of sexual assault. This case is pending investigation.
