UNIVERSITY PLAZA is raffling off two free party bus packages. The package includes six game tickets and spots on the party bus from NIU to Soldier Field for the NIU vs. Wisconsin football game Saturday. OVEREATERS ANONYMOUS will host a free walk and talk at the NIU East Lagoon. OA is a 12-step group for people who want to stop focusing too much on food and/or eating compulsively. We meet at the Lincoln Highway parking lot and walk around the lagoon as we talk. Anyone who wants to stop compulsive food behaviors is welcome. THE DAVIS JUNCTION MUSIC FEST will be held at the Davis Junction Community Park, located off of Route 72 in Davis Junction. Gates open at 10 a.m. and the show will run from noon to about 10 p.m. There is a $5 entrance fee and the event, which helps support all arts programs in the Meridian school district, will have musical acts all day long and showcase students’ visual arts. THE INDONESIAN STUDENT ASSOCIATION (PERMIAS) and the Southest Asia club will host the “Indonesian Culture Night” at the Wirtz Hall Auditorium. Doors open at 5:30 p.m. with performances starting at 6 p.m. The event will showcase dance, music and Pencak Silat (Indonesian martial arts) performances.
