• At 4:28 p.m., DeKalb Police checked the license plate of a vehicle in the 1100 block of W. Hillcrest Drive. The officer found the registration of the vehicle was suspended due to a lack of insurance. The officer performed a traffic stop and found the driver, Julieta H. Guevara, 25, of Arlington Heights, was driving with a suspended driver’s license. Guevara was arrested and taken to the DeKalb Police Station and was later released on bond.

Wednesday

• At 8:01 a.m., DeKalb County Sheriff’s deputies responded to a report of a man walking on the railroad tracks near Nelson Road in DeKalb. Deputies located the man, Mark A. Johnson, 42, of DeKalb, arrested and charged him with criminal trespass to railroad property. Johnson was transported to DeKalb County Jail pending bond.
