Tuesday

• At 12:41 a.m., DeKalb Police investigated a report of a robbery in the 400 block of Russell Road located Tory D. Hill, 21, of Chicago. Hill was found to have an active Failure to Appear warrant for entering and remaining. Hill was arrested and taken to the DeKalb Police Station. He was later transported to DeKalb County Jail. Investigation is ongoing.

• At 12:41 a.m., DeKalb Police investigated a report of a robbery in the 400 block of Russell Road located Jerome D. Majors, 19, of DeKalb. Majors was found to have an active Failure to Appear warrant for retail theft. Majors was arrested and taken to the DeKalb Police Station. He was later transported to DeKalb County Jail. Investigation is ongoing

Wednesday

• At 2:16 a.m., a DeKalb Police officer writing parking citations in the 200 block of E. Lincoln Highway noticed a vehicle that had two previous parking citations. Upon further investigation, the officer found that one of the registered owners, Denise M. Lyle, 40, of Malta, had a valid Failure to Appear warrant for cruel treatment of animals. Lyle was found sleeping in the back of the vehicle. She was arrested and taken to the DeKalb Police Station. Lyle was later transported to DeKalb County Jail.
