• At 10:25 p.m., DeKalb Police responded to a report of a loud party in the 700 block of Russell Road. Officers spoke with the tenant and observed a strong odor of burnt cannabis coming from the apartment. The tenant granted officers access to the apartment and a search yielded no cannabis. Officers found that a guest, Angel L. Randle, 30, of Chicago, was banned from the property. Randle was arrested and charged with criminal trespass to real property. He was taken to the DeKalb Police Station and later released on bond.
