WHY: Jack’s Mannequin has stuck with me from high school and throughout college. This song, off of their first album back in 2005, is arguably my favorite track on the whole thing. The band is never short on heartfelt, honest lyrics. Every word sounds like something ripped from a journal; and “I’m Ready” is no exception. Don’t we all need a feel-good song every once in a while?
