Study Abroad Fair set for Wednesday

By Lauren Dielman

NIU will host the 19th annual Study Abroad Fair Wednesday.

The fair will be from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. in the Duke Ellington Ballroom in the Holmes Student Center. Faculty and students in attendance can learn about financial aid, grants and loan options for the study abroad programs, as well as have the opportunity to find programs in their areas of study or earn credit in general elective requirements, according to a press release.

Representatives from NIU’s Career Services, the Center for Southeast Asian Studies, Center for Black Studies, Latino Resource Center, Health Services and other campus departments will be there to answer questions.

Those who are unable to attend the fair can attend a presentation and question-and-answer session called “Study Abroad 101: First Steps to Study Abroad” at 3:30 p.m. any Wednesday or Thursday in the NIU Study Abroad Office.
