The University Scholarships Committee seeks an outstanding senior student

The University Scholarships Committee is looking for this year’s Lincoln Laureate.
The Committee announced Monday it is looking for assistance from faculty and staff to identify an outstanding NIU senior to honor for the 2011-12 academic year, according to an NIU Today article.
Electronic nominations will be accepted until noon Sept. 12, according to the article. Nominees must have a 3.5 GPA or better and graduate in the fall, spring or summer semester.
The Lincoln Academy Student Laureate Award is presented to one student from all four-year universities in Illinois.
