Wednesday

At 10:33 p.m., DeKalb Police officers on bike patrol in the 1000 block of Blackhawk Road noticed a parked car with three people inside. The officer identified them and found one man, Nathan R. Chavis, 19, of DeKalb, had a valid failure to appear warrant for a DUI. Chavis was arrested and taken to the DeKalb Police Station. He was later taken to DeKalb County Jail.

Thursday

At 12:26 a.m., DeKalb Police observed a vehicle run a red light in the 700 block of West Lincoln Highway. The officer performed a traffic stop, and found the driver, Michael P. Middleton, 25, of Dekalb, appeared to be intoxicated. Middleton failed all field sobriety tests given by the officer. Middleton was arrested and taken to the DeKalb Police Station and was later released on bond.

At 1:04 a.m., DeKalb Police observed a vehicle disobey a stop sign in the 1100 block of Varsity Boulevard. The officer performed a traffic stop and found the driver, Anthony M. Terry, 19, of DeKalb, was driving on a suspended driver’s license. Terry was arrested and taken to the DeKalb Police Station. He was later taken to DeKalb County Jail.
