The Student Association will host a Pep Rally for the football season opener between NIU and the Army Black Knights on Sept. 1 from 7 to 10 p.m. at Central Park.

There will be free food, a DJ and free t-shirts. Cheerleaders, Huskies football players and Victor E. Huskie, the NIU mascot, will be there for the rally, said Assistant Athletics Director Shelley Binegar.
