At 12:28 a.m. Thursday, DeKalb Police in the 1000 block of Crane Drive responded to a criminal trespass. The victim told police that Danyal P. Jones, 21, of DeKalb, was knocking on her door trying to get inside. Police located Jones at the entrance to the 1000 block of Crane Drive and confirmed she was banned from the University Village property. Jones was taken to the DeKalb Police Station and later released on bond.
