Dekalb crime blotter for April 15

The following was taken directly from area police and fire department records, or from the DeKalb County court records. Anyone mentioned is presumed innocent until proved guilty in a court of law.
- At 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday, DeKalb County Sheriff’s deputies followed up with a lead at 1305 N. Annie Glidden Road. Deputies located and seized over 30 grams of suspected cannabis from the apartment. NIU student John J. Wieszchowski was arrested and charged with possession of cannabis, and possession of cannabis with intent to deliver. Wieszchowski was later taken to DeKalb County Jail.
- At 11:37 p.m. Wednesday, DeKalb Police in the 1200 block of North First Street observed a vehicle driving with no headlights. Police performed a traffic stop and learned the driver, Alexandra M. Panovich, 24, had a suspended license. She was taken to the DeKalb police station and was later released on bond.
