Why running for alderman: Taylor said it’s very important to him that there be someone on the city council without a specific political agenda.

Role of Alderman: Taylor said he thinks it’s important that there is an acting representative and if citizens have issues they can call the alderman who can deal with the issue accordingly.

Biggest Issue: Taylor said revenues and expenditures and making sure Sycamore can pay contracts and payroll are the biggest issues. Taylor said he thinks the outlook for Sycamore is positive.
