Campus crime blotter for April 14

April 9

  • At 5:04 a.m., a student was found to have unlawfully consumed alcohol at Grant South. The student was referred to the Office of Community Standards and Student Conduct.
  • At 9:01 a.m., a report was received of criminal defacement that occurred at the Yordon Center. With no further information, this case is administratively closed.

Sunday

  • At 12:47 a.m., an officer spotted a pedestrian with an open container of alcohol walking northbound on Regent Drive near Hillcrest Drive. The person admitted to underage drinking and received a verbal warning for illegal possession of alcohol by minor.
  • At 2 a.m., an officer spotted a pedestrian with an open container of alcohol walking northbound on Regent Drive near Hillcrest Drive. The subject admitted to underage drinking and received a verbal warning for illegal possession of alcohol by minor.
  • At 5:57 a.m., a report was received on criminal damage to a vehicle parked in Lot W. After investigation and finding no leads or further information, this case is administratively closed.
  • At 12:49 p.m., an officer noticed the odor of cannabis from a vehicle leaving Lot W. The vehicle was stopped and a search of the vehicle yielded a smoking device. The owner of the device received a referral to the Office of Community Standards and Student Conduct for possession of drug equipment.

Monday

  • At 12:43 p.m., a person left behind a DVD player playing pornographic movies at the Holmes Student Center. At this time, no complaint was filed. This case is cleared for refusal to cooperate.

Tuesday

  • At 11:21 a.m., a theft of lost or mislaid property was reported at Lincoln Hall. This case is pending investigation.
