The following was taken directly from area police and fire department records, or from DeKalb County court records. Anyone mentioned is presumed innocent until proved guilty in a court of law.
- At 9:21 a.m., on Saturday, DeKalb Police in the 800 bock of Ridge Drive stopped a vehicle with an expired license plate. Police found the driver, Chaquita T. Fulton, 25, of DeKalb, to be driving with a suspended license and without insurance. Fulton was taken to the police station and later released on bond.
- At 10:52 a.m., on Saturday, DeKalb Police in the 600 block of North Annie Glidden Road stopped a vehicle for speeding. Police found the driver, Andre E. Buchanan, 33, of East Moline, to be in possession of cannabis and driving with a suspended license. Buchanan was taken to the police station and later released on bond.
- At 1:39 a.m., on Saturday, DeKalb Police in the 1000 block of West Lincoln Highway stopped a vehicle for reckless driving. Police found the driver, Richard M. Seitz, 20, of DeKalb, to be driving with a revoked license and without insurance. Seitz was also charged with squealing tires, and consumption of alcohol by a minor. He was taken to the police station and later released on bond.
- At 7:47 p.m., on Thursday, DeKalb Police in the 2000 block of Sycamore Road checked the plates of a vehicle. Police found the owner, Timothy I. Young, 26, of DeKalb, to have a failure to appear warrant for unlawful delivery of cannabis. Young was unable to post bond and was later taken to the DeKalb County Jail.
- At 12:00 p.m., on Wednesday, DeKalb Police in the 900 block of Crane Drive observed a vehicle disobey a stop sign. Police stopped the vehicle and found the driver, Tierria P. Pickens, 22, of DeKalb, to be driving without a valid driver’s license or insurance. Pickens was taken to the police station and was later released on bond.
- At 7:15 p.m., on March 14, DeKalb Police in the 500 block of West Hillcrest Drive performed a traffic stop on a vehicle. Police learned the driver, Valente Alvarez, 25, of DeKalb, had no driver’s license or insurance. Alvarez was taken to the police station and later released on bond.
- At 4:30 a.m., on March 13, DeKalb Police in the 200 block of West Hillcrest Drive went speak with a victim of a fight and Kishwaukee County Hospital. Police learned the individual, Ray Chance Thompson, 22, of DeKalb, had a failure to appear warrant for fighting, possession of liquor, and criminal damage to property. Thompson posted bond at the hospital and was given a court date.
- At 9:59 a.m., on March 13, DeKalb Police in the 500 block of South Annie Glidden Road stopped a vehicle for speeding. Police found the driver, Beatriz Y. Camacho, 17, of DeKalb, to have no valid driver’s license or insurance. Camacho was taken to the police station and later released on bond.
- At 9:34 a.m., on March 12, DeKalb Police in the 700 block of West Taylor Street stopped a vehicle for speeding. Police found the driver, Maria E. Ramirez – Martwez, 52, of DeKalb, to have no valid driver’s license. Ramirez-Martwez was taken to the police station and later released on bond.
