Campus crime blotter for March 22

March 11

At 1:59 p.m., the theft of an item was reported to have occurred at Founder’s Memorial Library. This case is open pending further investigation.

At 3:18 p.m., the theft of a cell phone and MP3 player was reported to have occurred from Douglas Hall. The items were left unattended in a classroom. This case is open and pending further investigation.

March 12

At 1:43 a.m., after being questioned by officers, two residents of Neptune North admitted to possession of cannabis and drug equipment. John Ott, 18, of West Dundee, and Matthew Grillo, 19, of Algonquin, were both arrested for possession of drug equipment.

At 3:47 a.m., a resident of Grant South was found to be illegally under the influence of alcohol. She was referred to the Office of Community Standards and Student Conduct for illegal consumption of alcohol by a minor.

Monday

At 3:24 p.m., a domestic battery was reported that occurred at Neptune West. There were no visible injuries to either person involved. Both students were referred to the Office of Community Standards and Student Conduct.
