DeKalb crime blotter for March 22

The following was taken directly from area polic and fire department records, or from DeKalb County court records. Anyone mentioned is presumed innocent until proved guilty in a court of law.
March 12
At 9:34 a.m., DeKalb Police in the 700 block of West Taylor Street stopped a vehicle for speeding. Police found the driver, Maria E. Ramirez-Martwez, 52, of DeKalb, to have no valid driver’s license. Ramirez-Martwez was taken to the police station and later released on bond.
March 13
At 4:30 a.m., DeKalb Police in the 200 block of West Hillcrest Drive went to speak with a victim of a fight at Kishwaukee Community Hospital, 1 Kish Hospital Drive. Police learned the individual, Ray Chance Thompson, 22, of DeKalb, had a failure to appear warrant for fighting, possession of liquor and criminal damage to property. Thompson posted bond at the hospital and was given a court date.
At 9:59 a.m., DeKalb Police in the 500 block of S. Annie Glidden Road stopped a vehicle for speeding. Police found the driver, Beatriz Y. Camacho, 17, of DeKalb, to have no valid driver’s license or insurance. Camacho was taken to the police station and later released on bond.
