DeKalb crime blotter for March 25

The following was taken directly from area police and fire department records, or from DeKalb County court records. Anyone mentioned is presumed innocent until proved guilty in a court of law.
Wednesday
At 2:09 a.m. Wednesday, DeKalb Police in the 900 block of Edgebrook Drive performed a traffic stop on a vehicle for failing to dim its lights. Police learned the driver, Leonard Harvest, 19, of DeKalb, had no valid driver’s license or vehicle insurance. Harvest was taken to the police station and later released on bond.
Thursday
At 12:29 a.m. Thursday, DeKalb Police in the 800 block of North Annie Glidden Road performed a traffic stop on a vehicle. Police found the driver, Duerell A. Gist, 30, of DeKalb, to be driving with a suspended license and failing to secure a child under 8 years old. Gist was taken to the police station and later released on bond.
