35 people charged for alcohol-relate offenses

Thirty-five people were arrested and charged for alcohol-related offenses after police responded to the 15000 block of Somonauk Road Saturday.
Dekalb County Sheriff Roger Scott said police were called around 4:30 a.m. for a report of a car in a ditch.
“There were other cars parked there as well and we went to the residence to talk to those people about getting those vehicles moved off the highway,” Scott said.
Scott said it was at this point that the sheriffs noticed alcohol being consumed by minors.
According to a press release, 24 people age 18 and over were arrested along with 10 juveniles. All were charged with unlawful consumption of alcoholic liquor by a minor. Scott said all were released.
The owner of the residence, Steven A. Vidmar, 51, was charged with contributing to the delinquency of a minor and obstructing a peace officer. He is being held at the DeKalb County Jail pending bond.

Hatcher, 20, Elgin; Richard M. Seitz, 20, DeKalb; Jimmy T. Loucks, 18, DeKalb; Craig A. Wegener, 18, Waterman; Peter Paul D. Mabrie, 20, DeKalb; Donald V. Falk, 18, Hinckley; Michael T.
