Campus crime blotter for Feb. 14

Feb. 8
At 8:01 a.m., two subjects were questioned about an odor of cannabis and admitted to smoking marijuana. Jeffrey Hillborn, 22, of Lake Villa, revealed a small bag of cannabis and was arrested for possession of cannabis 30 grams and under. The other subject was referred to the Office of Community Standards and Student Conduct for possession of cannabis 30 grams and under and other cannabis control offenses.
At 11:42 p.m., an officer investigating the odor of cannabis questioned the occupants of a particular room, all of who denied smoking cannabis. A consent search revealed several beers but no other contraband. One person was referred to the Office of Community Standards and Student Conduct for unlawful possession of alcohol by a minor.
Wednesday
At 11:20 p.m., officers investigated a cannabis complaint at Stevenson Towers North. One person received a referral to the Office of Community Standards and Student Conduct for possession of cannabis and drug paraphernalia.
Thursday
At 5 p.m., officers observed and documented damage done to the outside mirror on a vehicle parked in Lot W. The incident occurred sometime between 5 p.m. on Feb. 8 and 5 p.m. on Feb. 10. Pending any leads or further information, this case is administratively closed.
At 11:28 p.m. officers conducting a building check of Lincoln Hall recognized an individual banned from campus and arrested Tequila Singleton, 21, of Chicago, pursuant to the banning order. Singleton was arrested for criminal trespass to land.
Friday
At 12:26 a.m., a person was found to have unlawfully consumed alcohol. The person was referred to the Office of Community Standards and Student Conduct for illegal consumption by a minor.
At 12:41 a.m., a person was found to unlawfully be in possession of alcohol. The person was referred to the Office of Community Standards and Student Conduct for illegal possession of alcohol by a minor.
At 2:21 a.m., a person was found to unlawfully be in possession of alcohol. The person was referred to the Office of Community Standards and Student Conduct for illegal possession of alcohol by a minor.
At 4:11 a.m., a person was found to have unlawfully consumed alcohol. The person was referred to the Office of Community Standards and Student Conduct for illegal consumption by a minor.
At 1:36 p.m., a subject reported being harassed through the telephone. This case is open pending further investigation.
