Campus crime blotter for Feb. 10

Jan. 25

• At 8:39 p.m., a theft of a cell phone and MP3 player was reported to have occurred at Stevenson Hall. Pending any new leads, this case is administratively closed.

Jan. 31

• At 1:40 p.m., an officer responded to the third floor of Douglas Hall B-Wing for a report of criminal defacement to property. Upon arrival, the officer saw graffiti written on a wall. This case is pending investigation.

Sunday

• At 3 a.m., a student at Grant South was observed stumbling, unable to walk without the help of her friend. The student admitted to underage drinking and was referred to the Office of Community Standards and Student Conduct for unlawful consumption of alcohol by a minor. She was entrusted to the care of her friend for the remainder of the night.

• At 5:35 a.m., an officer assisting the DeKalb Police Department stopped a vehicle driving erratically down Hillcrest Drive. Brandon Barber, 22, of Richmond, was arrested and charged with driving under the influence, possession of cannabis 30 grams and under, and possession of drug paraphernalia.
